The powerful physical appeal of print pieces is undeniable. Combine quality stocks and materials with my passion for color theory, love of typography and eye for layout, and you’ll have materials that stand out from the rest with an effortless aesthetic. I can manage your project from its conceptual phases all the way through the pre-press stage, and sometimes even further; my professional quality button press allows for inexpensive short runs of 1″ pins and magnets.
Center for Innovation in Assessment
My work for the Center for Innovation in Assessment (CiA) included promotional materials such as brochures, posters, displays, and bookmarks. I also created design templates , illustrated, and shot photography for ITRI (Informational Text and Reading Inventory) children’s books and teacher’s manuals.
Literary Empires Poster
Conceived by Dr. John Walsh of Indiana University, this large poster maps the temporal and spatial settings of poems by Robert Browing and Algernon Charles Swinburne. Floral embellishments, daguerreotyped maps, and ornate typography lend a Victorian feel to the design.
Jacobs School of Music Marketing & Publicity
In meeting the Jacobs School of Music’s marketing needs, I’ve had the pleasure to design posters in all sizes, from handbills to 6-foot-tall banners. I’ve published advertisements in Bloom Magazine, The Herald Times, The Ryder, and many other local publications. Each piece retains the Jacobs sense of identity while establishing its own unique feel.
